Toner Tracking Sheets

Hello everyone!

If you change out the toner on any of the printers, please make sure that you are writing it down in the Toner Tracking Sheet at the Reference Desk (located in the calendar). There's also a Toner Tracking Sheet available at the Upper Reference Desk if you are working upstairs when you change the toner. 

Also, if you change the toner out on the color printers, please make sure that you’re writing down which color printer and the color that you changed.

There’s been a discrepancy in the Toner Tracking Sheet concerning the color printers, so please be diligent in reporting.

Replacing Color Toner

Hi All,

Chris just called me and informed me that the old color printer that was on the main level cannot be repaired but the color toners still in the printer can be used when we run out of toner on the replacement printer that's now on the main level.

So, once the color printer on the main level runs out of toner, please go upstairs and get toner out of the old color printer before opening any new toner.

Periodicals Printer Jamming

Hi All,

The Periodicals printer has jammed several times this morning.

Chris came by to look at it and recommended that we keep an eye on it but if it continues to jam up, we probably need to go ahead and change the toner.

If the printer continues to have issues and you decide to change the toner, please make sure you log it on the form located at the Reference Desk.

Changed Toner in B/W Main Printer

Hi Reference Team,

I changed the toner in the main black and white printer this morning.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we should be good on toner in that printer for a while.

The Maintenance Kit is low but I verified with Chris that Systems takes care of that part.
