Hi All,
The TV remote at the Reference Desk kept getting left at the Circulation Desk so I have re-labeled the remote to say "Ref. Dept" in order to help others know that one of the remotes should stay at the Reference Desk.
The reason both of the remotes had a "Circ." label on them was to indicate that they can also turn off the screen at the Circulation Desk. I have replaced our "Circ." label with "Ref. Dept" to prevent any other confusion.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Christy

Periodicals Printer Jamming
Hi All,
The Periodicals printer has jammed several times this morning.
Chris came by to look at it and recommended that we keep an eye on it but if it continues to jam up, we probably need to go ahead and change the toner.
If the printer continues to have issues and you decide to change the toner, please make sure you log it on the form located at the Reference Desk.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Christy

Guest Passwords
Hello!
Please do not change the automatically generated password for guest users. I understand the impulse to do so, but for security reasons we need to be using the more complex passwords that the system generates. The TAMU system security auditors also requested that we add in an uppercase letter and a number to the passwords a few months ago, so please note that all the automatically generated passwords begin with an uppercase letter and end with a number.
Thanks for your help in keeping our network safe!
Margie
