Collaboration Table Near Tutoring Office

Hi All,

I received an update concerning the collaboration table closest to the tutoring office on the main level.

The screen’s power board is going out so if someone is working on that computer and the screen goes blank, you will need to unplug and replug in the power cord to the screen. The power cord is located on the wall behind the screen.

You may have to do this several times throughout your shift because it is uncertain how long the screen will remain on while it’s in this state. A replacement screen has been ordered.

Newer Collaboration Tables

Hi Reference Team,

Chris stopped by this morning and asked me to pass on this information regarding the newer collaboration tables:

If a student has used a laptop/device on the table and the regular computer interface does not show up after their use, you will need to press a small button which is located down where the connectors/USB ports are located (see image below for example).

Once you press this button, you should see the computer interface (black, control
+ alt + delete) on the screen.
