I just wanted to let you know that I have changed the blue toner in the main level's color printer.

Toner Tracking Sheets
Hello everyone!
If you change out the toner on any of the printers, please
make sure that you are writing it down in the Toner Tracking Sheet at the
Reference Desk (located in the calendar). There's also a Toner Tracking Sheet available at the Upper Reference Desk if you are working upstairs when you change the toner.
Also, if you change the toner out on the color printers,
please make sure that you’re writing down which color printer and the color
that you changed.
There’s been a discrepancy in the Toner Tracking Sheet
concerning the color printers, so please be diligent in reporting.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Christy

Plowboy Reserves
This year, we have put some of the materials routinely used by the Plowboys candidates (and, sometimes, in the Silver Bugle Hunt for Homecoming) on reserve. They are available for two-hour in-library use. The course name is Plowboys and the course ID is PLOWBOYS 101.
More items than the three (with two copies of one item) listed below may be added if there is a need, as well as additional copies of items.
This way, the items can be used whenever the library is open. You might also want to point them to online resources such as the Grassburrs, J-TACs, and the HistoryPin tour.

Collaboration Table Near Tutoring Office
Hi All,
I received an update concerning the collaboration table
closest to the tutoring office on the main level.
The screen’s power board is going out so if someone is
working on that computer and the screen goes blank, you will need to unplug and
replug in the power cord to the screen. The power cord is located on the wall
behind the screen.
You may have to do this several times throughout your shift
because it is uncertain how long the screen will remain on while it’s in this
state. A replacement screen has been ordered.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Printing PDFs
Hi All,
Students having difficulty printing PDFs has been an issue that we've seen at the desk a lot lately so here's a possible work around:
If a student can’t print a PDF from Blackboard, even after saving it on their T: drive, have them right click on the PDF icon and select Adobe Acrobat DC to open it. They should then be able to print that version.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Christy

Mobile Printing
Hi Reference Team!
Corey and I have been working together to trouble-shoot mobile printing issues this morning and we have discovered that students have to print using the library or other campus computers first before they can use mobile printing.
If they do not print through the library computers (or other computers on campus) first, the mobile print center will not recognize their UIN, so if you are helping someone with that issue, have them log onto a computer and print something, then have them try logging into mobile printing to print.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Christy
