Hi Reference Team!
Please refrain from placing Out of Order signs on the Laptop Vending Machines unless you first submit a Systems Work Request or at the very least post on here explaining the situation.
There were signs on the machines when I came in this morning and when Chris called to ask me why, I did not have an answer for him. When he looked at the machines, they were operational.
Submitting a Systems Work Request helps expedite the repair process and also helps answer any questions that someone may have.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all about the process.

Sorry, this one was my fault. The database reindexing took significantly longer than it has in the past, which brought circulation down for most of the day, so the laptops couldn't circulate. I told Cathy to put the signs on the vending machines. Chris got in before I did this morning and didn't connect the dots.
